REMEDIAL MEASURES FOR CHANDRABHEDI PLOT



Figure given here represents a plot dissected by the moon. Ill omens related to it can be removed by erecting a wall in the centre and dividing the plot into two almost equal squares. According to VAASTU Shastra, however, such a wall must not be erected exactly in the centre, but a bit southwards so that the northern square becomes a little larger. This piece must be given to the elder brother to safeguard his rights as big brother and avert fallial disputes.

AUSPICIOUS DIRECTION FOR ENTRANCE

The direction, entrance of your home faces, is very crucial about your personal development as well as for the development of your family. You may decide on this issue according to your Sun sign as given below:

1) Aries, Taurus and Aquarius: People belonging to these zodiac signs ought to keep the entrance to their homes in north.

2) Virgo, Capricorn and Cancer: People of these zodiac signs must keep the entrance to their homes in the south.

3) Sagittarius, Libra and Gemini: People of these zodiac signs must keep the entrance to their homes in the west.

4) Scorpio, Pisces and Leo: People belonging to these zodiac signs must keep the entrance to their homes in the east.

After acquiring of plot, location and construction of the water source is second necessity. The table given below explicity shows the possible effect of water source located in different directions of the plot:

REMOVAL OF UNWANTED MATTER FROM THE PLOT

Things like iron, bones of animals, hair, teeth etc. that are retrieved from digging of the plot, are kept under unwanted categories. As long as these things remain buried in the plot, these may cause mental disturbances, nightmares, and incidents of fire, loss of children, live stock and wealth besides scores of other problems. These unwanted things must be unearthed and removed prior to starting construction. A simple method is given here to determine if there is any unwanted matter in your plot:

Take a whole piece of arecanut and the ask the owner to put it on the square in the figure given below. Effect of each of these letters is given below:

A: From the centre of the plot towards the east, human bones are buried at a depth of one and a half feet. These must be unearthed or the owner will meet untimely death.

K: In the south-west corner of the plot, bones of an ass are buried. Because of it the occupants will always remain in frightened condition.

Ya: In the centre of the plot, human bones are buried. Their presence may lead to untimely death of the occupant.

Ta: In the south-west corner of the plot, bones of a dog are buried. Because of these bones, children do not survive in the home.

Ai: In the western part of the plot, bones of a human baby are buried. Because of these, the owner has to undertake unnecessary travels.

Ha: In the north-western corner of the plot, coals are buried at a depth of one and a half feet. Because of these, the occupants suffer from frequent nightmares.

Sh: In the northern part of the plot, bones of a goat or fish are buried very deep. These cause abject poverty for the owner no matter how rich he might have been initially.

Pa: In the north-east corner of the plot, bones of a cow are buried at a depth of one and a half feet. These cause loss of cattle wealth for the owner.

Ch: In the southern part of the plot, human skull, hair, ashes etc. are buried at a depth of four feet. As long as these remain unearthed, occupants face untimely death.

The above mentioned method is a common one. It is not necessary that you do find something unwanted everytime. But as a precaution, you must apply this method to test your plot before staring constructions.

OMENS FOR STARTING CONSTRUCTION

People of almost all the religions believe in some kind of omens or auspicious moments. It is also said that well begun in half done. This saying applies fullest to the work that begins at an auspicious moment.

You can yourself see that there are many houses that remain half built. The main reason behind their unbuilt condition is that their construction was not begun at an auspicious moment and care was not taken of the omens then. Hence, begin the construction of your home at an auspicious moment only.

AUSPICIOUS MOMENTS FOR DIGGING FOUNDATION

Every three months, Shesh naga changes his position in the nether world Because of Shehsnaga's movements. The direction that he faces also changes. Hence when the Sun makes a transition through Pisces, Aries and Taurus, Sheshnaga faces west. Hence, during that period digging for the foundation, must be started from the south-east.

When the Sun makes a transition through Gemini, Cancer and Leo, i.e. during the lunar months of Jyestha, Asharh and Shravana, Sheshnaga comes to faces north. Hencing during these period digging must be started from south-west direction.

When the Sun passes through Virgo, Libra and Scorpio, Sheshnaga faces the east. Hence during the month of Bhadrapada, Ashwin, and Kartik, digging must be started in north-west direction.

When the Sun makes a transition through Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, Sheshnag faces the south. Hence during the months of Margshirsh, Paush and Magh, digging must be started in the north-east direction.
