(26) TVAMAGNE RAJA VARUNOM DHRITA VRATASTVAM MITRO BHAVASI DASMA IDAYAH ||

O Agni! You are the one, who observes the vow and are alike King Varuna. You are a friend worth praising and are beautiful.
This Agni is the one who is beautiful, one who loves all, the protector of all. Who adheres by the rules and is radiant. Only that person is preferred as a leader, who adheres by laws and rules. The leader is very meticulous and is disciplined. Such a person is definitely worth respecting and praising. All should therefore lead a balanced and disciplined life.

The learned bestow a very high position on the person who performs great deeds.
The leaders who do good deeds reside in the hearts of the people. Such a person only is worthy of a high position and can become the king of a nation. That is why one can attain high prestige and honour in society only if he treads on the virtuous path.

He (Indra) does not give an opportunity to the proud to acquire anything.
People who are proud do not adhere or acquire anything and as a result of which the ego gets destroyed. Ego is the biggest enemy of humans. An egotist can never be humble that is why he is seldom blessed even by god.
A person can achieve everything by being simple and humble. An egotist can never expect anything good.

One who talks sweet, spend all their days in happiness. He does not have an enemy and is blessed with plentiful of wealth and good fortune. A joyful state of mind naturally has its good effects on the body which remains healthy. Sweet voice(nature) is the root of all happiness.

Those who are farsighted and truthful always tread on the righteous path and they abstain from any type of wickedness and deception. Good people avoid the company of bad people. Therefore people who indulge in these acts of deception and debauchery are devoid of success.

A well behaved and cultured scholar always possesses auspicious wealth i.e. earned from good means.
A scholar with excellent knowledge and intellect are invited to seminars where they earn name and fame by proving their mettle. Those who are eloquent are honoured in seminars and they acquire wealth and success as the result of their knowledge and incessant efforts.

O venerable Gods! I am desirous of your karmas i.e. I want to emulate your Karmas that are progress oriented. Human beings perform good karma (deeds) in order to attain success. A man who is desirous of success and strength should work incessantly just like the wheels of a chariot which keeps on moving.
It is in the best interest of the human beings to take inspiration from gods and work diligently towards their goal. The person desirous of success and strength should perform good karma continuously.
THIRD MANDALA
(35) YATASRUCHAH SURUCHAM VISHWADEVYAM RUDRA YAGYAANAAM SAADHA DISHTIM PASAAM ||

We ignite fire in this Yagya and offer oblations to Agni- the doer of good to all- the vanquisher of enemies and without whom no ritual or Yagyas could be accomplished.
The person who does well to others and protect the good from the wicked, they attain success and honour because of their great deeds. People accept only that person as their leader who is radiant with good knowledge and karma (deeds).
(36) APAANSI YASMINNADHI SANDA DHURGIH ASTASMINNA SUNMANI YAJMAANA AA CHAKE ||

A performer of religious sacrifices (Yagya) finds happiness performing those rituals which have been propounded by the knowledgeable ones.
Where there is 'karma'(yagya rites) there exists happiness. Lethargy can prove fatal for life. The real happiness of life is in doing 'karma'. A learned man searches for happiness in the rituals of Yagya. The karma yogi puts efforts and naturally gets the fruits although he does not expect them. One gets good and bad results according to the good and bad deeds performed. One should, therefore, perform karma with nonchalance without expecting the benefits because sooner of later one shall definitely gets the fruits.

May our voice concord with the voice of others, May the intellect of gods and humans become one and may they all become equally radiant.
May there be no difference of opinion or discord in a nation. May the intellect and thoughts of people create harmony, may all the scholars and great souls be in unison with each other and may we tread on the path accordingly. May there be unison in the speech and action of humans. Only by this shall, unity emerge and serve each others purpose. The nation shall emerge stronger and mightier because of this.

Man attains name and fame by his good deeds.
Even after death such deeds are remembered and recalled. Such people who are good karmayogis gain by having many a followers and they become famous. Thus one should always perform good deeds.

Indra advertently derived light from darkness. We should refrain from sins and stay in a secured place.
Only by attaining knowledge can one become free from ignorance and eliminate his sins. Such a man dwells independently as his mind becomes free from fear. Thus one should always strive for knowledge so that ignorance never touches him.
