From the first day of the bright half of the lunar month (Shukla Paksha) till the next 10 days, the Moon is half powerful.
From eleventh day of the Shukla Paksha till the fifth day of the dark half of the Lunar Month (Krishna Paksha), the Full Moon is the most auspicious.
From the sixth day of the Krishna Paksha till the darker phase of the Moon (Amavasya), the Moon is powerless and weak.
If a weak Moon is combined with the auspicious planets, it acts positively.
Some Astrologers are of the view that, the Moon is weak from the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha till eighth day of the Shukla Paksha
and it is powerful from the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha till the seventh day of the Krishna Paksha.
