1) If the Jupiter is present in the ascendant or the first house in the horoscope of a person, he is a possessor of all kinds of wealth, is also endowed with beauty and is a favourite of the king or the royal family.

2) If the Jupiter is present in the second house of the horoscope of a man, he is always a cheerful type of person, has more than one wife, suffers pain at the time of birth but happy in his life ahead.

3) If the Jupiter is present in the third house of the horoscope of person, he enjoys and shares the wealth of his brothers, but because he spends excessively in virtuous works, religious rites, ceremonies etc. he normally faces financial hardships as a result.

4) If the Jupiter is present in the fourth house of the horoscope of person, he achieves name and fame, enjoys all kind of wealth and comforts in life and receives grace from the king.

5) If the Jupiter is present in the fifth house of the horoscope of person, he has a pure and pious heart, is respected by his friends, has knowledge of the sacred texts, is happy and people feel privileged to meet him.

6) If the Jupiter is present in the sixth house of the horoscope of person, he has a frail physique, possesses vehicles and frightens his enemies. But if the Jupiter is in the same house with a retrograde motion, inspite of being a king, he is fearful of his enemies.

7) If the Jupiter is present in the seventh house of the horoscope of person, he enjoys a lavish and royal life like a king, talks softly, is a scholar and has a pleasant personality.

8) If the Jupiter is present in the eighth house of the horoscope of person, he loves going on pilgrimages, is restless, remains single, is unwealthy and is a practitioner of Yoga.

9) If the Jupiter is present in the ninth house of the horoscope of person, he is the best amongst the men, wealthy and prosperous like a king, is pious-hearted, is a tight-fisted man and firmly endorses his views and encourages others to act similarly, and loves his wealth, his wife and his family.

10) If the Jupiter is present in the tenth house of the horoscope of person , he possesses many vehicles, has expertise in politics etc. is religious and never attracted even to the most beautiful women, other than his wife.

11) If the Jupiter is present in the eleventh house of the horoscope of person, he is wealthy like a king, brings fame to his family's name and usually respects all the religions.

12) If the Jupiter is present in the twelfth house of the horoscope of person, he suffers from heart disease or from the disease of the stomach. He is a tight-fisted man, and possesses wealth inherited from his forefathers.

But if Jupiter is under the influence of an auspicious planet, he is a hypocrite and argues over the teachings of the sacred texts.
